Page 1 of 3 One of the most common questions that I receive in email is "Where can I stay in Spruce Pine?". Sometimes the choices are limited, but I hope this guide will give you overview of the hotels, motels, and campgrounds of Spruce Pine. Spruce Pine Pinebridge Inn website: http://www.pinebridgeinn.com The Pinebridge Inn is Spruce PIne's largest and best known hotel. The inn was built from the old Harris School, and still features a "schoolhouse" theme. The inn is also one of the only places to host conferences in Spruce Pine. Pinebridge can hold conferences upwards of 150 people, and the Inn has catering staff if you require it. In years past, part of the Mineral and Gem festival has been held at Pinebridge. Pinebridge Inn is just across the Toe River from downtown Spruce Pine. In fact, you can walk to downtown on the "pine bridge" which gives Pinebridge its name. The Inn also has several special rooms and cottages that you can reserve for a special vacation or getaway. Pine Valley Motel website:http://www.pinevalleymotel.com Pine Valley Motel is a one-level motel located in the Grassy Creek area of Spruce Pine. Pine Valley is your basic, clean motel, and also offers two-bedroom furnished apartment style rooms with working kitchens. There is also a laundromat on site. Richmond Inn website: http://www.richmond-inn.com Like most bed and breakfast inns, Richmond has a unique selection of rooms, each with its own history and character. You can reserve a specific room depending upon your tastes. Some pets are allowed with a security deposit, call the inn for details. The Richmond Inn is located just behind downtown Spruce Pine, and is easy walking distance from Upper and Lower street. If you are coming for a short getaway and want to see downtown, the Richmond is a good choice. |
